Sustainabilty practices
Zero Waste
The fashion industry is one of the highest pollutants in the world. Every garment production unit discards certain amount of solid fabric from their total consumption as post cutting waste , stitching waste, defected and end-of-the-line fabrics. In this world of throwaway fast fashion, one of the most sustainable things we do as brand is to make use of these discarded fabric waste and turn them into new garments thus minimising wastage. Our mission is to create a Zero Waste Studio - one where every fabric is given life without going to landfills.

Our Fabrics
-
We use handwoven fabrics sourced from different weaving units and cooperative societies in and around Tamil Nadu.
-
We use deadstock fabrics that are left over fabrics of other fashion houses who overestimated their needs. We upcycle this fabric and make beautiful garments out of it.
-
We also collect fabric scraps from other boutiques and tailor shops which would other wise go to landfills and repurpose them into adding appliqués, fabric buttons or creating a new garment.
